Rosebud’s Cellar Boutique

A couple of weeks ago, I ventured down to Morgantown, Indiana, and had a little slumber party with my mom and dad for two days while the kids were on Spring Break. Both of my brothers, their wives, their kids, and my parents all live within shouting difference of one another—okay, that was an exaggeration, but they live close enough to where it’s nothing for them to all see one another on a daily basis. It’s always tons of fun when we get the chance to visit. As I was driving through the small town, I noticed a cute little boutique called Rosebud’s Cellar Boutique. Bella was with me at the time, and after a serious bribe from me and some mega eye rolling from her, we pulled in front of the cute little old town building and decided to stop in to see what it was all about.

The moment we walked in the front door of Rosebud’s, we were met at the door with a smile from Gretchen Lucas, co-owner of Rosebud’s Cellar Boutique (she is co-owner with her mama, JoNelle Hickey). Gretchen was so warm and inviting and offered Bella (who is NOT fond of shopping) the store’s Wi-Fi password. In addition to the boutique, Gretchen also runs a hair salon out of a portion of the main floor (Shear Style Hair Studio). She gave us a quick rundown on where we could find certain styles and told us to shout if we had any questions for her.

We came at the perfect time because not only did Gretchen say that they had just gotten all of their spring styles in, but all of their jeans, boots, and winter items were on sale! Double score! After grabbing a few cute tops off the main floor, Bella and I ventured down to the basement (not a creepy-type basement, but a really bright, cute basement!).

While I could have left with, like, TEN cute new pieces for my wardrobe, I left with three. I purchased a pair of Cello Brand Skinny Jeans, an off-the-shoulder navy floral shirt, and a cream-colored floral top.

How super adorable are these tops? With the cream and floral top I felt like I needed to wear a camisole underneath of it because I am a little looser in the mid-section than I would care to admit, but you definitely wouldn’t have to. The navy floral off the shoulder top is so feminine! I’ve already received so many compliments on both!

As for the jeans, I have a pretty difficult time finding jeans that fit me and these Cello brand fit like a glove. Even better, they were on sale for $20! Say what?! $20 jeans, I say!

As an added bonus, check out this cute bag that I got to tote my new rags home in:

All in all, I give Rosebud’s my stamp of approval (not that they are asking for it . . . or want it . . . or anything, lol) but I will likely make it my mission to stop in every time I return home. You can browse all of their cuteness at Even better, if you’re in the area, visit them in store at 19 East Washington Street, Morgantown, IN 46160.

What was your last boutique clothing store find??

I appreciate you!

XOXO, Jodi
